The Community Development Department’s Building Division ensures compliance with building codes and to help foster a built environment that is healthy, sanitary, and safe. Our responsibilities include:

  • reviewing construction drawings & related files for compliance
  • issuing building permits for residential and commercial construction
  • inspecting construction work on sites for consistency
  • reporting construction activity to relevant agencies

For several types of plan reviews and inspections, we are supported by staff from the City of Gresham.

 

Online Services

With the City of Troutdale's Citizen Self Service (CSS) portal, you can apply for permits, schedule inspections,  search department records, receive fee estimates, and more! Click here to register an account or contact our office for more details.
