The Finance Department provides financial, technical and support services to the Mayor, City Council, City Manager and City Departments as needed in order for the City as a whole to accomplish its mission to citizens.
The Finance Director also serves as the Human Resource Manager and oversees the IT Division.
Such services include fiscal planning and financial statement reporting, preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), technical assistance in budget preparation, budget monitoring, payroll services, disbursement of funds, receiving and custody of funds, utilities billing and collection, cash management and debt administration.
